Trish Rafuse
Trish joined the WEV Board of Directors in June 2023 and serves on the Quality Committee.
Trish is a lifelong resident of the Annapolis Valley with her childhood years spent growing up in the Kingston/Greenwood area.
After graduating from Middleton Regional High School, Trish attended NSCC and graduated with a Diploma in Banking and Financing
Trish worked for several years in the retail sector, mostly holding management positions at Suzy Shier and Northern Reflections. During that time, she had her first child Madison in 1996. After the birth of her second daughter, Santanna in 2001, Trish changed gears and started working for Frito Lay in New Minas.
During her time at Frito Lay/Pepsico Trish held roles in direct customer sales, human resources, continuous improvement, accounts payable, team mentoring and crew scheduling. After 15 years, Trish left Frito to explore a passion that she had for a long time, real estate.
Since 2019, Trish has been a full-time real estate agent with Exit Realty Town & Country, mostly working out of the New Minas office. She is a member in good standing with the Nova Scotia Association of Realtors where she is the Vice Chair of the PMAC committee (Political Municipal Action Committee), volunteers on several other committees including the Accessibility and Diversity committees.
Trish is passionate about the community that she lives in and believes strongly in volunteering and supporting causes that she cares about deeply. She’s a member of the Kentville Rotary Club and Chairs the International Youth Exchange Committee. In the past, Trish was a director with the VON board, spent many years volunteering with Apple Blossom children’s parade, Camp Brigadoon, Big Brothers and Sisters to name but a few of the ways she liked to get involved with her community.
She currently lives with her partner, Jeff Kelly in Coldbrook. They are busy with their blended family (Jeff’s children Isabel and Victor), work and serving the community.
