Director of People Operations

I have worked in Long Term Care as a Nurse for most of my career.  My journey started as a LPN , working directly with residents and families . After having wonderful experiences, I recognized my passion for education and supporting Care Partners to be the best version of themselves. I then moved into a role that involved orientation and mentoring, processes and policies, provincial requirements, and education. In 2019 I was lucky enough to return to the Windsor Elms as the Education & Eden Coordinator and a member of the People Operations team. The past 3 years I was given an opportunity to be in a Resident Care Manager /Education Coordinator . This gave me an opportunity to support resident care as well as care partners in their education requests ,best practice standards , while still having an active role in orientation. Just recently , I made a shift in my career to support the team from a different lens. I was successful in my application to be the Director of People Operations.  Within this role I will still have the opportunity to support care teams to be the best versions of themselves and support  passions they want to persue as well as make an impact on Resident outcomes. I feel this will be the best of both worlds, and I am so excited for this new journey! I live in Kings County  with my 5 amazing children and a few fur babies .
