Michaela Tracy
Life Enrichment & Recreation Manager
Hello all!
I’ve had the privilege of working with people of all ages and abilities in a variety of recreation and community settings. I completed my Bachelor of Human Kinetics at St. Francis Xavier University (StFX), followed by a diploma in Recreation Therapy at Algonquin College.
Before joining Windsor Elms Village, I spent over two years leading outdoor programs at Brigadoon Village, Canada’s largest pediatric camp. I also worked at Dykeland Lodge for five years, most recently as a Recreation Therapy Associate, where I helped lead the recreation team and create meaningful experiences for residents. Throughout my career, I’ve also been involved with programs for local schools, family camps, corporate retreats, the March of Dimes, and the FUNdamentals Special Olympics program.
Recreation Therapy is something I’m truly passionate about. I love creating welcoming, inclusive opportunities that help people connect, have fun, and enjoy meaningful experiences.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time with my dog, Phoenix, enjoying the outdoors, or trying something new—most recently, pickleball!
