Marc Comeau

Marc has served as Legal Consultant for the Board since the summer of 2017.

Marc practised law in Kentville for nearly four years before joining Taylor MacLellan Cochrane, gathering experience in several areas of law which enables him to provide valuable insight and experience in assisting and advising Windsor Elms Village in Marc’s current practice areas of corporate/commercial law, real property law, wills and estates and Municipal law. As well, Marc attends all Board meetings and other Board initiatives.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2008 from the University of New Brunswick, Marc returned to Nova Scotia to article with Stewart McKelvey in Halifax. Following his call to the Bar in 2009 he decided to relocate to the Annapolis Valley where he and his family now call home.

Marc is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, the Kings County Barristers’ Society, the Canadian Bar Association, the Real Estate Lawyers’ Association of Nova Scotia and Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce. Marc is an advocate for Elderlaw and Estate planning including presenting for the Senior Safety Program, the Rural Farm Women’s Association, the Palliative Care Units in the Annapolis Valley and other community groups.
