My journey tells the story of the Windsor Elms commitment to grow and develop care partners. My relationship with Windsor Elms began as a high school student volunteering with the Recreation Department. While pursuing my Bachelor of Arts Degree at Acadia University I worked in the Environmental Services Department. Since graduation I’ve had so many opportunities to expand into new roles and responsibilities throughout the Administration / Finance Department, People Operations Coordinator and then as Director of People Operations . I am excited to say that after 22 years of employment at the Windsor Elms, I am still finding opportunities to learn and grow by most recently being appointed by the Board of Directors as CEO.

Beyond my undergrad degree, I hold certificates in Accounting, Eden Mentor training, Managing Human Resources from Saint Marys University Sobey School of Business and Leadership in Continuing Care Administration from Dalhousie University.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working alongside the most amazing care partners who all contribute to the growth and success of WEV. I am so proud of all of us!

My vision, leadership & dedication align with the Windsor Elms Village’s beautiful commitment to the Eden Philosophy and making this the most incredible living experience for our residents and families, investing in the employees to make them the best versions of themselves, championing the principles of Equity Diversity & Inclusion and leading the sector in innovative research and projects. WEV truly is the best place to live work and visit and therefore it excites me to lead the team to achieve even greater milestones together!

On a personal level, I grew up on a hobby farm so spent my summers between barns, hay fields and exhibitions.
I now have a loving and supportive husband, step son, step daughter in law, a beautiful baby granddaughter & 2 dogs. I’m an avid camper, absolutely addicted to my audiobook and I really enjoy a great cup of coffee or glass of wine.
