Allison Wheaton’s journey in nursing spans over 16 years, marked by a deep-rooted dedication to providing compassionate care across a spectrum of healthcare environments. Her experience has been as diverse as it has been extensive, beginning with her role as a Community Health Care Nurse in the remote and culturally rich region of Nunavut.

Transitioning from the northern experience to the Eastern Shores of Nova scotia, Allison assumed the role of Charge Nurse at Windsor Elms Village. Durning this time Allison has touched the countless lives, offering both medical expertise and heartfelt support to the residents, family, staff and volunteers.

Allison is dedicated to holistic care, leadership and continuous learning has made her a respected and beloved figure in her community.

Allison has currently accepted a Manger of Infection Control and Clinical Practice at WEV and is excited to continue leading the way in making the Windsor Elms village the best place to live, work and visit today and tomorrow.
