My background and education are focused on accounting, and most recently business analytics and finance. I have a Business Administration Diploma from NSCC and a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Acadia University. Throughout my career paths, I have grown my professional experience through many different roles – personal and corporate income tax preparation, managing full cycle accounting, preparing reporting for various stakeholders and funders, and working for a Northern First Nations Community.
Recently my shift to finance has allowed the opportunity to manage clients through a personal and commercial level, by developing trusted strategic relationships, providing sound financial advice, and constantly developing business. It is also important to me to be able to give back and support our local community organizations. I have done this through various treasurer and volunteering roles amongst Atlantic Canada. My past experiences have shown me that helping others in a meaningful way is at the core of what fills my cup, daily. I am super excited to continue to learn, grow and explore all that Long Term Care has to offer.
On a personal level, my husband and I are kept busy with our four-legged boys – Wilis & Waylon. You will find us at the local curling club in the winter, and working on some kind of home improvement project in the warmer months. We also thoroughly enjoy cooking a good meal to share with family and friends.
I am thrilled to be a part of the team here at Windsor Elms Village!
