The Board of Directors and staff consider their Chaplaincy services to be vital contributors of resident and staff spiritual care and overall mental/emotional well-being. Special programming such as music therapy and Spiritual Circle enrich the lives of our residents, and extraordinary and significant affects can occur in those who suffer from Alzheimer’s and Dementia disorders. Other services such as counselling, church services, and one-on-one visits for residents, their families, and staff are also considered to be necessities. These services are delivered by our very own Chaplain and Music Therapist.
Contributions made to our Chaplaincy Fund will have long lasting benefits to those whom we serve. Any donations made to the Chaplaincy Fund can be made payable to: Windsor Elms, 174 Dyke Road, Falmouth, NS B0P 1L0, or may be dropped off at our Business Office.
A receipt will be issued for all amounts.
Supporting Resident Quality of Life
We invite you to review the attached letter to learn more about our Chaplaincy Services.
For over 50 years Windsor Elms Village has supported Chaplaincy by hosting small fundraising events, and through bequests and kind memorial donations. The Chaplaincy’s only source of funding is received in this manner. We strive each year to sustain our Chaplaincy services which relies on generous gifts from our supporters.
